NetCFax PRO+ (v3.60) is the latest and is a very special 
HIGH END version of the NetCFax Pro system.

SPECIAL  CUSTOMIZED  SYSTEMS

Let us CUSTOMIZE NetCFax  to suit your particular  needs by adding special features or fax handling  (or even removing) features.

It is of course based on NetCFax Pro v3.x but in addition provides access to several of the really powerful features that will also be in the new NetCFax PRO+ v4 when it ships next year. We have decided to release NetCFax PRO+ to meet the demand we are constantly receiving to make many of these features available as soon as possible.

NetCFax PRO+ includes ALL of the features of the NetCFax Pro v3.1 system, plus all of the features listed on this page. The new features provided in PRO+ are only available in PRO+ v3.6 and they will also be in NetCFax PRO+ v4 when it ships.

NetCFax PRO+ now provides TRUE, REAL TIME UPDATING of the contents of ALL DRAWERS of the fax cabinets of ALL FAX CLIENTS without the need to refresh the entire contents of any of the drawers.  All changes now happen instantly !!!!

If you are looking for the ultimate in a truly networked fax system that uses the industry standard TCP protocol for all communications (for LAN/WAN and even across the Internet), and is competitively priced, easy to install and use, and can be used on any reasonable specification Window's PC, (a Window's "Server" machine is NOT required, although of course we can run on them and support them as well) we firmly believe you will find that NetCFax will provide the solution you are looking for.

WHAT ARE THE ADDITIONAL FEATURES IN NETCFAX PRO+ V3.6 ?

NetCFax PRO+ v3.6 has been designed specifically for those people who are interested in "top end" handling for creating complex outgoing faxes and advanced handling for their received faxes. 

NetCFax PRO+ v3.6 provides "real time" updating of all of the faxes cabinet drawers for all logged in clients, allowing them to see immediately when a fax is received, sent, fails to be sent or is deleted, and it also allows any client who has access to the received faxes to mark any of them as Seen or Unseen.  In addition to these powerful features, the system even updates all clients in real time when a comment is added, deleted or changed on a received fax, or another fax client uses the manual assignment system to assign a fax to a login account or group. There are even control options on the fax clients cabinet menu that allow you to enable or disable these update features if you wish to do so. 
   
If the real time update system is enabled (the default) then whenever any other fax client, or even the fax server administrator, makes any changes such as sending faxes or deleting them, all of the logged in fax clients will see their drawers update in real time if they have the cabinet open in the relevant drawer.  If the cabinet is open, but the relevant drawer is not open, the change still occurs in the relevant drawer.

If your login account has full NetCFax administrator rights, then you even have the option to rapidly toggle the contents of the lists of faxes to show all of faxes in that drawer, or only those actually owned by your login account.

NetCFax PRO+ v3.6 also provides what we have called an "Immediate list" of documents that you have printed to the NetCFax printer.  This list is maintained by the system, and allows you to very rapidly select any number or combination of previously printed documents and add them to a fax to be sent out.  Each login account has their own personal Immediate list, and this is saved across log in sessions for you as well.

NetCFax PRO+ v3.6 release now provides you with the much requested ability to use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) by providing fully automated support for the Transym TOCR system (v1.4).  This lets the fax server scan all received faxes when they are received totally automatically and to convert the contents of these faxes into readable and editable text that is saved to files in a special OCR folder in the fax servers installation folder with the same name as the fax file themselves.  

In fact, the fax clients can even ask the fax server to OCR scan any received fax, and if successful, that client is then asked if they wish to view the text file that has been generated by the server.

NB - We do NOT provide the Transym TOCR system with NetCFax PRO+, and neither can you register it with us, but you can download it from the Transym web site at http://www.transym.com/downloadv14.html.  The cost (currently) to register a single instance  copy (which is probably all you need) of this powerful and well respected OCR system is only $40, and you can download a free evaluation system and install it on the Fax server machine to try the entire system out.  If you use multiple modems and may need to have multiple OCR scans running concurrently, you may need to purchase a multi instance license from Transym. NB - Transym have now released TOCR v2.0, but currently NetCFax only supports the earlier v1.4 release, so do not download v2.0.

NetCFax PRO+ v3.6 release now has a new "View" menu on the Fax client's cabinet that lets you select which fax viewer you prefer to use by default.  You can select the standard viewer, or the Thumbs viewer that was previously only available in the Received faxes drawer.
  
Once you set the default viewer, this will be used to view any fax data file in any of the drawers of the cabinet whether you click the "View fax" button, or double click in the list or use the context menu option.  The first page of the Create Fax wizard's "View Document" button also uses the selected viewer.

The Cover page content templates system has also been improved for PRO+.  There are now options to save any locally available cover template to the fax server, either to be accessed by only your login account alone (Personal) or, if the server has the option enabled, to save it to the servers shared templates, thereby making it available to all of the fax clients.
  
This again improves the flexibility of the NetCFax Client to be used seamlessly from any PC on your network, while still providing you with all of your own personal configuration, address books and now cover page content templates.

For maximum flexibility the NetCFax PRO+ system now lets the fax server allow or disallow clients who do not have full NetCFax Administrator rights but do have full received fax access rights the ability to access and use the received faxes routing system. 

Due to the enhanced features shown above that are in this version, the NetCFax PRO+ cost is slightly more than the cost of Pro v3.x.

The NetCFax PRO+ system also increase the outgoing faxes per day limit from 40 times your license count to 50 times your license count for systems licensed for under 25 users.

DELETED FAXES CONTROL

With the Windows Vista upgrade of NetCFax PRO+ being released in late February, 2007, there is now a deleted faxes recycling bin system.  Whenever any fax is deleted, it is only marked as deleted, and details are held in the new recycle bin.

Any login account with NetCFax Administrator login access rights is able to open the Recycle bin using any fax client, and then undelete or of course permanently remove any of the deleted faxes from the recycle bin.

FAX POWER SEARCH FEATURE

With the Windows Vista upgrade of NetCFax PRO+ being released in late February, 2007, there is a very flexible and useful "Power Search" system that lets you search through any drawer of the fax clients faxes cabinet on a variety of different search criteria.

The NetCFax PRO+ Server system even comes with a completely FREE developers SDK/API that lets C, C++ (and now also VB6 programmers) quickly and easily add powerful faxing capabilities to their own programs by using our NetCFax PRO+ Server to handle all of the faxing itself.  The SDK even handles all the (TCP/Winsock) network communications between your application (which can of course be somewhere else on the network) and the NetCFax PRO+ server you want to connect, to completely transparently, so you don't have to think about, know about, or worry about TCP, Winsock or network communications of any type, so all you need to do is focus on how you want your application(s) to be fax enabled.

NetCFax PRO+ also provides a simple to use command line fax creation system that can be used by anyone across you internal network, without the need to have a fax client installed on that machine at all.
