The NetCFax
Networked Fax System is recognized as being a very powerful and equally reliable
networked fax system that provides a great many different features,
which of course vary
according to the version of NetCFax you choose.
However, over the
years since we first launched NetCFax, we have discovered that quite a large number of organizations
from around the world have approached us to ask us if it was possible to add new and
special fax handling features, or even to remove access to one or more of
the features already provided, to stop them being accessed by the general
networked user base.
We could not of course
make these types of changes in the generally released product versions, so we
quite rapidly decided that the way to handle these "special
requirements" would be to offer one-off "customized" copies to those
who wanted a special feature included or removed.
These "special
version code" releases only provide access to the special features
requested
to the organization that commissions them, and we even guarantee to maintain
these features in the relevant version(s) for a minimum of two years as a part of the
consultancy fee for the
changes required, thus ensuring they are still available to those same customers in
any newer general releases.
The way this system works is
very simple.
We provide the required
development and testing work to make the requested changes at a standard consultancy
rate which very often costs a great deal less than you might at first
expect.
Included in this cost is a fully detailed specification of exactly what the
changes you request will be expected to do, and once you have thoroughly
tested the changes, you "sign-off" on that, we close the
consultancy record.
Once the changes have been
made and thoroughly tested by ourselves, we will provide you with a new NetCFax release
for both the fax server and clients if relevant, that include the agreed changes,
together with documentation on how to enable or disable the new code, and we then allow you a period of 30 days
from that date for you to also thoroughly test and accept the new features added (or
removed).
Our consultancy rates do
of course vary depending on the size and complexity of the task required
as shown below. ( a day is classified as 8 hours chargeable time )
