Yes, NetCFax does of course work
just fine on "normal" Windows networks, and IT DOES NOT
NEED XP with Fast task switching, or a domain controller Server,
or a Remote desktop session before it can be installed and used.
As well as now providing support
for the more "exotic" Windows platforms, such as Windows
2000/2003 server, and XP with Fast Task switching enabled, NetCFax
does of course work just fine in an ordinary network setting,
where the fax server and the fax clients are going to be running
the earlier Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 Pro that do not
use any of the features these more advanced releases of Windows
are able to provide.
Because NetCFax uses TCP for all
communication, it will work on any normal Windows network, as
virtually all use TCP as the network protocol these days.
Just pick a networked machine
that has one or modems installed and working, install the NetCFax
server on that, and then install the NetCFax client on as many
PC's across your
network as you wish.
Thats's all there is to it, it
will all work just great !!!!
