How to be notified
when a fax you have sent to the
server has been faxed out successfully.

As you doubtless already know by now, all of the sending and receiving of faxes is handled by the NetCFax Server alone.

It is quite possible, and even likely that the PC running the NetCFax server is nowhere near you, but quite reasonably, you may still want to know when it has sent out one of your faxes.

There are two separate configurations for this useful feature. The first is on the server itself, which can be configured to provide, or to NOT provide these notifications to the fax clients.

If we assume your fax server does have this enabled, all you need to do is to ensure that your fax client is also configured correctly to receive the notifications.  To do so, go to the Tools menu, and select the "Fax sending and failed options" item.

This will display a window with various options on it.  The ones you want are at the bottom, labeled "Display notifications window when a fax is sent successfully" and "Display notifications window when a fax fails to be sent".

By checking these options, your fax client will receive broadcast notifications  from the fax server whenever it successfully sends a fax, or if for whatever reason it fails to be able to send a fax.

By default, if your fax login account only has the standard "Individual" rights, you will ONLY receive notifications of faxes that your login account has sent to the fax server, as the server stores the login account name of the owner of each fax system is.

If however, the login account you have, or are using, has full Administrator rights, then ALL notifications FOR ALL FAXES the server sends or fails to send will be displayed by the fax client.  In normal terms, this may be rather more notifications than you really want to be informed of, so the additional option below the two mentioned above lets you tell the fax client to only display notifications for the faxes that the login account you are using has created.

Thereafter, whenever a notification is received, a small window will popup on your screen giving you some useful information on the fax that has just been successfully sent, or of course, that failed to be sent.

NetCFax PRO+ ONLY
If you have the PRO+ release, then you don't really need these notifications, as the relevant drawer of all the fax client's cabinet drawers are updated in real time.
