How you can have received faxes printed automatically
(like a fax machine  does) ?

The NetCFax server can of course) be configured to print all faxes that are received. In fact, NetCFax Pro can do a lot more than that for you.

The basic settings to have received faxes printed on receipt by the server is on the Tools - Received faxes configuration options.

Almost the first option on this window is the option to print all received faxes, and once checked, the server will print all of the pages of these faxes to either the default NetCFax printer (if you have set one up), or else to the default Windows printer.

If you have NetCFax 2.65.9 or Pro 3.00.9 there is a recently added option that lets you print a transmission report as well as, or even instead of the fax itself.

If you have NetCFax Pro (v3.x) you can further control this if you have set up any Departments in NetCFax Pro.  Each department can have it's own printer assigned for printing these faxes to, and what this means is that when a fax is received on a specified phone line (COM port/modem) the system first checks to see if auto printing of received faxes is enabled, and if so, it checks for any departmental printer that is specified for the phone line it arrived on.

Please check out the departments configuration for more information on this useful feature of NetCFax Pro.

This allows larger organizations to have NetCFax Pro behave in a way that is very similar to the situation where each department have their own fax machine, but without the costs and time wastage involved.

Another feature offered for received faxes is an automatic conversion to PDF files of all faxes that are received. You can also specify where these are stored, such as on a network server.
