We understand that many
organizations prefer to use a standard format, and the Acrobat PDF
format has become the defacto alternative in most cases.
NetCFax is able to create PDF
copies of all received faxes for you totally automatically.
You can even configure the fax server to attach these PDF files
rather than the original fax (TIF) file to the email notifications
it is also able to send out.
To enable this option, just go to
the Tools menu of the Fax Server, and select the "Received
faxes configuration options". The initial tab of
this property sheet is labeled "General & PDF options"
and has the panel shown below at the bottom.

Simply check the option to "Enable
Fax-to-PDF conversion" option, and specify the folder
these are to be saved to. By default this is a sub folder
named PDFS in the Fax Servers own installation folder tree, but
you can choose anywhere at all that you wish.
The other options below the
folder field are all we believe fairly self explanatory, but
clicking the Information button will give you further
details.
In NetCFax Pro, it is also
possible to have PDF copies of faxes that sent created
automatically by the fax server.
To enable this option, just go to
the Tools menu of the Fax Server, and select the "Fax
Sending/Resending/Failed options". The initial tab
of this property sheet is labeled "General & PDF
options" which has the panel shown below toward the top
of the window.

Just check the "Create
PDF..." option, and then click the "Select Folder"
button to tell NetCFax where you would like these PDF copies of
faxes that have been sent out saved. Every time a fax is
sent out successfully, the Fax Server will create a PDF copy of it
for you.
When NetCFax Pro v4 ships, it
will have a special PDF tab on the faxes cabinet that allows you
to select, view and print these PDF copies of received faxes
instantaneously on both the server and of course the fax clients.
