You probably already know how easy
it is to create and send a
"fax" with
NetCFax, and know how to enter the text that is used to fill the
"Notes/Comments" section of any cover page.
However, it is quite possible
that you send out faxes whose cover pages need to contain
virtually the same words many many times, with perhaps only minor
changes, such as providing pricing information and similar.
This is exactly why we have
provided the "Cover page content templates.
A cover page content template is
what is often called a "boilerplate" text file that can
be reused time and time again. For NetCFax, these are just
simple ASCII text flies that can contain anything at all.
The only nominal limit is the total lines and/or total number of
characters that they should contain, because cover page text is
not "wrapped" to a second page, so if you have too much,
some will not be able to be fitted on to the cover page of the fax
when it is sent.

As you can see in the diagram
above, immediately above the "Comments" field are
two buttons, one of which is labeled "Click here to select
or maintain cover text templates". When you click on this
button, the window shown below is displayed.

You can select any available
template here, and as you can see, you can view their content, and
even add or edit them.
When you click the select button,
the entire contents of that template are pasted into the Comments
field on the main Fax creation window for you totally
automatically.
Using these can save a tremendous
amount of time as you can select a template, change a few words
and send the fax without needing to type it all in time after
time.
