This page provides information to help you understand
How to setup the fax client so that it always
starts whenever Windows is restarted.

BACK TO INDEX PAGE

This is very easy to achieve, as is shown below.

To change the start up mode for the NetCFax client, go to the File Menu, and select the option labeled "Set fax client's startup options".

This displays a small window that contains three different radio buttons.

Just select the type of auto start you want (this user or all users of the computer) and click the OK button.

Next time your restart the computer or have to restart Windows, the Fax client will be started automatically for you, which then means you can use the Fax printer to generate faxable data at any time.

There is a second way you can do this, which provides you with even more control over how the fax client starts.   Go to the Tools Menu, and select the similarly named option Configure Startup/auto login options.

Not only does this window include the same three options discussed above, but it also lets you control whether the fax client will login to the last fax server it used automatically.  You can also decide if you want the Fax Client window to be left visible on the desktop, or if you prefer it to be iconized to the system tray immediately.
