HOW THE NETCFAX LICENSING SYSTEM WORKS
PRODUCT UPGRADES
Before you can download an upgrade we do ask you to provide the following details to enable us to update your registration details on our records.
Evaluation copies of our software can also be upgraded, but this will not extend the evaluation period unless it is to a different versions entirely, such as NetCFax 2.x to NetCFax Pro 3.x, or even to PRO+ v3.6
PLEASE NOTE - You do NOT have to uninstall the product to upgrade with these files. They will upgrade your existing system and preserve all your current configuration settings.
Due to a cost of living price rise on December 31, 2006, ALL upgrades of earlier versions of NetCFax to the latest v2.75, 3.16 or 3.60 releases are chargeable, although the cost is very small.
IMPORTANT - we have discontinued licensing of the 3 user SOHO systems, so if you chose to upgrade such a system the upgrade cost will include a charge to increase the license count to the new minimum of 5 users.
Upgrades from BusinessMail 4.x to the current 4.x release are however still free, despite BusinessMail now offering a Windows Service option and support for Windows Vista. Please see our upgrade prices pages for more information on the NetCFax upgrade fee that is payable. (This will open in a new window)
IMPORTANT - If you are currently running NetCFax versions before 2.70 or 3.10 we strongly advise that you reinstall your system entirely. Please contact technical support for more information before proceeding with this.
